The performance period of the Hsinchu County Subsidy Plan for Promoting Waste Reduction and Recycling in 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the plan) is from January 1, 2020 to November 30, 2020, and the statistical date of the final report is from January 1, 2020. As of November 30, 2020, the overall implementation progress of the plan was 100%, and the highlights of this year's implementation results are as follows. 1. Reduction of disposable beverage cups This year, 15 businesses have provided recyclable cup rental services, and 869 people have used the recyclable cup rental service. One briefing session on the restriction that beverage stores are not allowed to provide plastic single-use beverage cups was held, with 40 participants, and beverage store operators in the county were inspected. 50 times, all comply with the regulations. 2. Reduce the amount of single-use travel and accommodation supplies The Resource Recycling Administration of the Ministry of Environment issued the "Objectives and Implementation Methods of Restrictions on Single-Use Travel and Accommodation Supplies" on July 17, 2012, which will take effect on January 1, 2014. In order to make hoteliers in the county understand the relevant regulations, on A briefing session was held on November 29, 2012, and an online video conference invited hoteliers and hoteliers in the county to participate, with 32 participants. 3. Promote the use of disposable tableware and plastic tablecloths at desks This project has gone to the site to provide guidance to the table service operators not to use plastic tablecloths and disposable tableware, and submitted a list of table service operators within the jurisdiction on April 12, 2020. The project will also go to the operators to provide guidance on not using disposable tablecloths and plastic tableware when catering. Tablecloths, a total of 3 sessions have been processed by the end of the term. 4. Reduction of plastic bags used for shopping in public markets This project provides guidance to ten public markets in the county, and conducts ten publicity activities on bringing your own shopping bags, and proposes public markets to propose reduction plans for shopping plastic bags. By the end of the period, it has provided guidance to ten public markets in the county. Reduce 1.062,260 plastic bags. 5. Promote agencies, schools and private enterprises to implement source reduction This project provides guidance to the county’s agencies and schools in reporting the reduction of disposable tableware and packaged drinking water every month. By the end of the period, the monthly reporting rate reached more than 80%, and the declaration and confirmation were completed. This year, we have provided guidance to a total of 48 companies within the jurisdiction to install reusable containers for food, and provided guidance to more than 5 catering companies within the jurisdiction to provide take-out and delivery services in recyclable containers, and to provide more than 30 third-party platform recyclable container delivery services. As of the end of the period, More than 1,200 people have used it. This project will provide guidance to private enterprises this year to provide reusable containers for dining in internal employee restaurants. By the end of the period, a total of 1 company has been provided guidance. 6. Establish a concept store for recycling second-hand items and used clothes This year, more than 9 stores in the county have been guided to become recycling concept stores, and the information has been posted on the national waste treasure map website. 7. Second-hand items and used clothes recycling and exchange activities This year, a total of 6 large-scale second-hand items and used clothes exchange activities were held, with 2,081 participants, and 7,740 second-hand items collected and exchanged. In addition to self-organized second-hand items and used clothes events, this project also organizes monthly events Information on second-hand market activities is regularly posted on the agency’s “Resource Recycling and Source Reduction Promotion” website. 8. Provide guidance to night market catering operators not to use disposable tableware for internal use This year, a total of 2 night market catering operators were provided with guidance on not using disposable tableware for indoor use, namely "Xinpu Night Market" and "Beipu Night Market". The operators were subsidized to replace disposable tableware and plastic tableware, and were provided with guidance on how to use their own tableware. The public can provide discounts for increasing the quantity. 9. Source reduction media promotion This plan uses various media to strengthen the publicity of various policies and related information related to source reduction. 10. Source reduction marketing, publicity activities or briefing sessions This year, publicity activities and briefing sessions will be carried out as planned to achieve the goal of garbage reduction publicity. 11. Results of the Environmental Protection Agency’s self-assessment performance assessment This plan complies with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency's 112th annual assessment of source reduction projects, and has achieved the most important results in source reduction-related projects.
